RX-36 Web (hereinafter "this Site") is a technical blog and free game (including ranking features) project operated by a sole proprietor (trade name: RISE) based in Japan (hereinafter "the Operator").
This Site is in beta, and features, specifications, scope of service, and this policy may be changed or terminated without prior notice.
This policy describes how this Site handles personal information and related data (collectively referred to as "User Data").

(2) Game/Ranking Information
Examples: Scores (numerical values), identification information necessary for ranking display (display name, etc.)
Purpose: Score storage, ranking aggregation and display, fraudulent score prevention, troubleshooting
(3) Technical Information and Logs
Examples: IP address, device/browser information, access date and time, error information, security-related logs
Purpose: Troubleshooting, quality improvement, security, detection and prevention of unauthorized access
(4) Inquiry Information
Examples: Inquiry content, reply email address
Purpose: Inquiry response, record-keeping, recurrence prevention
2.2 Supplementary Notes (Important)
This Site uses third-party authentication infrastructure (e.g., Auth0) for login.
For ranking provision, we handle minimal data necessary for games/rankings (scores, etc.).
This Site uses third-party services such as Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics for access analysis. These services may process device information, browsing information, etc., using cookies and similar technologies (see sections "5" and "6" for details).
Note that this Site does not currently use third-party advertising services (e.g., Google AdSense).
3. Public Scope of Rankings (Important)
Rankings are generally public information (viewable by anyone and may appear in search engines).
Information displayed on rankings generally consists of display names (usernames) and scores. Email addresses are not displayed.
Display names may be set or changed by users.
Treatment of ranking display upon service suspension/deletion follows section "8 (Retention Period and Deletion)".
4. Supplementary Notes on Authentication, Sessions, and Embedded Games
4.1 Authentication (Auth0, etc.) and Login Status
This Site uses third-party authentication infrastructure. After login, this Site maintains login status and retains authentication-related information (e.g., session identifiers) to the extent necessary for service provision.
4.2 Embedded Games and Ranking Submission
When playing games embedded in articles on this Site while logged in, we may pass short-lived authentication tokens from this Site to the game page to provide ranking functionality (score submission/storage).
This Site endeavors to implement reasonable security measures such as destination restrictions.
5. Cookies and Similar Technologies (Cookies/Local Storage/Tags)
This Site may use cookies and similar technologies (local storage, etc.) for the following purposes:
- Strictly Necessary: Maintaining login status, security, fraud prevention, load balancing, etc.

This Site will strive to make improvements within a reasonable scope while considering consent status and settings.

Users can change or withdraw consent (including disabling/deleting cookies) through the consent management UI or browser settings. We strive to make withdrawal as easy as giving consent.
However, disabling strictly necessary cookies may make features such as login unavailable.

This Site uses the following external providers (examples) for service provision, and User Data may be processed by these providers to the necessary extent:
- Authentication: Auth0 (Okta service)
- CDN/DNS/Security/Distribution: Cloudflare, etc.
- Game Distribution: Cloudflare Pages, etc.
- Backend API/DB Hosting: Third-party server providers
- Access Analysis: Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, etc.
This Site does not sell users' personal information to third parties.
However, external service providers may handle data independently, so users should also review each provider's privacy policy.
7. Third-Party Provision and Cross-Border Transfer (Processing Outside Japan)
Because this Site uses international external services, user information may be processed and stored outside Japan (e.g., United States, Europe, Singapore, etc.).
This Site endeavors to protect data within a reasonable scope based on applicable laws and the protection measures provided by external service providers.

8. Retention Period and Deletion (No Specific Numbers - Clarifying Standards)
This Site is in beta, and data retention follows the principles of "minimum necessary" and "reasonable period". Retention periods vary depending on operational circumstances, troubleshooting needs, security requirements, legal obligations, etc.
8.1 Standards by Category
(1) Account-Related Information (Email, Authentication ID, Display Name, etc.)
Retained for the period necessary for service provision. When a user requests deletion, we will delete or anonymize within a reasonable period unless there is a legal retention obligation or necessity for fraud prevention.
(2) Game/Ranking Information (Scores, etc.)
Retained for the period necessary for ranking provision. Upon account deletion or service suspension, we may do one of the following:
(a) Delete scores, (b) Anonymize identifiers such as display names and retain only aggregates, (c) Temporarily preserve for fraud investigation, etc.
※This Site does not guarantee permanent preservation of rankings.
(3) Technical Logs/Security Logs (IP, Device Information, Audit Records, etc.)
Retained for the period necessary for troubleshooting, fraud prevention, and security, and will be deleted or anonymized within a reasonable scope after achieving the purpose.
9. User Rights and Choices
Users may request the following from this Site in accordance with applicable laws:
- Request access to, correction of, or deletion of their own information
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
- Change cookie settings (browser settings or consent management UI, etc.)
- Cookies and tags related to access analysis may be restricted through the consent management UI (if provided by this Site), browser settings, or opt-out mechanisms provided by each third-party provider.
